Glamorous Italian Castle Wedding Spectacular
Sarah travelled all the way from Texas USA for her bespoke wedding dress and veil. The dress was a mix of modern and classic - perfectly suited to the venue - Castello Di Vincigliata in Florence, Italy. A glamorous castle with romantic ruins plunged deep among the Tuscan hills. Sarah loved the idea of silver lace with an antique quality. I made the unique dramatic shoulder and back embellishment with an intertwined mix of guipure lace leaves and crystal motifs. The shoulder embellishment created a beautiful wing-like cap sleeve. The dress was made from a luxurious soft draped crepe. A simple clean silhouette with a princess seamed top, which then glided over the hips, flaring out at the hem, with a sexy, yet demure, centre front split. Small lightly beaded lace flowers highlighted the side of the waist, to give a little touch of detail to the front of the dress, however the main focus was all about the plunge v-back. Hints of Swarovski sparkle were added to capture the late afternoon sun and evening candlelight. Truly magical.
