'From plants that wake when others sleep, from timid jasmine buds that keep their odour themselves all day, but when the sunlight dies away let the delicious secret out to every breeze that roams about’. Thomas Moore
A Cornish Festival Style Wedding
Rachel's ethereal ballerina inspired dress. A heavily beaded bodice and circle cut georgette skirt. The spaghetti straps, bodice and skirt split were hand embellished with delicate miniature guipure flowers, with a mix of beads, sequins and micro pearls. The bodice lace featured intertwined floral tendrils, which connected so poetically with her relaxed Cornwall lakeside wedding. The lace had a very gentle sparkle created by clear sequins and glass seed beads.
As Rachel planned a festival wedding she decided not to have a train on her skirt, but instead opted for a long cathedral length soft tulle veil that flowed behind her for the marriage ceremony. The veil was trimmed with hand cut beaded lace flowers. Beautifully feminine.
"It was amazing to know that the dress and veil were totally unique to me..."
